Lenberg Farms is a 100 acre goat and sheep dairy farm located near Lindsay, Ontario. It is owned and operated by Bruce and Sharon Vandenberg. The milk that is used to make their fine cheeses comes from their many Alpine, Saanen, and Toggenburg dairy goats and British milking sheep.
Their aim is to keep the goats and sheep healthy with a well-balanced diet. The perfect pellets are made under the strictest controls by a HACCP approved plant using all vegetable based ingredients. The ration is balanced with free choice straw or hay, grown by Lenberg Farms.
Lenberg Farms has won various awards. Lenberg Farms won the Premiers’ Award in 2010 for their innovative herd management record system. It instituted an advanced computer system from Israel in 2012 to track milk production and goat health. This technology provides opportunity for extraordinary health status monitoring and prompt veterinary care.
Their sheep flock is the newest addition to the Lenberg Farms’ family of animals added in January of 2011. They started raising British milking sheep and are now making wonderful aged sheep milk cheese.
